You may still be functioning

But functioning is not the same as feeling okay.

You may still be performing. Showing up to meetings. Leading a team. Meeting deadlines. Supporting your family. Making decisions. Getting things done.

And yet something may feel different. Work follows you home. Your patience is shorter. Rest does not feel restorative. Decisions that once felt manageable now take more effort.

You do not need to know whether the problem is burnout, your manager, your workplace, your career, or something happening in the rest of your life before reaching out. Often these experiences overlap.

11:47 pm. Still on.

How we can work together

Four ways we can work together.

Conflict, pressure and unsafe places to work

Workplace Counselling

For difficult workplace relationships and environments: bullying or harassment, micromanagement, organizational change, role ambiguity, performance pressure, conflict, exclusion, job insecurity and psychological safety concerns.

Running on empty, still running

Burnout & Work Stress

For professionals who are depleted, chronically overextended or unable to recover from sustained pressure. The goal is not to make you less ambitious, but to understand what is driving the strain.

Stay, leave, or head somewhere new

Career Counselling

For career uncertainty, transitions, leadership changes, feeling stuck, loss of meaning, immigrant career rebuilding, returning to work, or deciding whether to stay, leave or move in a different direction.

A new country, a new chapter

Migration, Identity & Starting Over

Counselling for adults navigating immigration, cultural adjustment, identity and belonging, isolation, family expectations, career rebuilding and the emotional weight of creating a new life.

Context matters

Work does not exist in a vacuum.

Career and workplace decisions are rarely just about work. They can involve income, family, children, immigration, identity, health, relationships, ambition, responsibility and the life you are trying to build.

“We can explore what you are carrying, what is within your control, what may need to change and what a realistic next step looks like for your circumstances.”

A different kind of workplace understanding.

Since 2009 inside complex workplaces.

Counselling psychology training. One integrated perspective.

I did not begin my career as a counsellor. I began as an engineer. At 21, while working with Tata Motors, I was given the opportunity to lead a team. Some of the most difficult challenges I encountered were not engineering problems. They were human ones — leadership, recognition, expectations, motivation, relationships and finding your place in a workplace.

Since 2009, my professional journey has taken me through engineering, HR business partnering, people operations, senior HR management, talent management and organizational development across multinational organizations and a major British Columbia Crown corporation.

My work has included career development, performance management, talent and succession, organizational development, job architecture and levelling, employee engagement, leadership development and coaching. I have led teams and functions, worked with workforces numbering in the thousands, and partnered with people from early-career employees through senior leaders and C-suite executives.

That experience is context — not a substitute for listening to the person in front of me. Counselling is not HR consulting. We begin with you.

My career has also been shaped by multinational organizations and organizational cultures influenced by Asia, Europe and North America. I remain curious about how culture, immigration, identity, family expectations, communication styles, hierarchy and belonging shape each person's experience.

Training and lived understanding

Professional training, with room for complexity.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, with supervised clinical training in individual counselling, case conceptualization, treatment planning, consultation and clinical supervision.

My broader background includes an MBA in Human Resources, an engineering degree, leadership coaching/facilitation experience and study in the neuroscience of leadership.

I also understand transition personally. I immigrated to Canada and rebuilt a professional life in a new country. I have changed professional directions, returned to graduate study while continuing to work, and navigated work, study and the responsibilities of single parenting at the same time.

These experiences do not mean I know your story. They remind me to make room for its complexity.

Who I work with

Adults across career stages.

Age, title and seniority can tell us surprisingly little about what someone may be carrying underneath.

Leaders and professionalsExecutives, senior leaders, managers and professionals carrying high levels of responsibility
High performersPeople who appear capable on the outside while privately feeling depleted or overwhelmed
Difficult workplacesPeople navigating difficult managers, workplace conflict, bullying, harassment or psychologically unsafe environments
Career transitionsProfessionals considering a career transition, promotion, role change or exit
NewcomersImmigrants and newcomers navigating identity, belonging, cultural adjustment and career rebuilding
Working parentsWorking parents and single parents balancing work, parenting, personal change and relationships
Organizational changePeople affected by restructures, layoffs, job insecurity or loss of professional confidence
An unsustainable paceProfessionals who simply know that the way they are working is no longer sustainable
“I do not believe people are problems to be fixed.”

What I believe

My role is not to tell you how to live or decide whether you should stay, leave, push harder or slow down. It is to create a respectful space where you can understand what is happening, explore what matters to you, and make decisions that fit your life.

Ambition is not the enemy. Hard work is not the enemy. Success is not the enemy. The question is whether the way you are pursuing them is still working for you — and what you want your work to make possible in the rest of your life.

What our work may support

Making room for a more sustainable way forward.

A clearer understanding of what is actually driving the difficulty
Greater confidence in your own judgment and decisions
Healthier and more realistic boundaries
Ways of responding to workplace pressure without losing yourself in it
Processing difficult or harmful workplace experiences
Rebuilding confidence after prolonged workplace strain
Clarifying whether the issue is the role, workplace, career direction or a combination
A career direction that accounts for your actual responsibilities, values and circumstances
More capacity to be present both at work and outside it
A lighter, more sustainable relationship with work and responsibility
Start where you are

You do not need to have it figured out before you reach out.

If work, career or professional responsibility has started affecting your wellbeing, confidence or life outside work, we can begin by understanding what is happening and whether working together is the right fit.
